Empty Butter Containers
To get the most out of the products we use, most of use will use any means necessary to scrape out the last bit. That's great, but from now on when you think you have scraped all you can out of your butter containers and feel it is time to throw away the container, STOP! Look inside the container, I bet there is still a little bit of butter left to be had. Let me share a quick tip with you.
I no longer throw away those so called empty containers, but store them in my freezer. Why? I use them to store leftover vegetables after dinner is finished. Leftovers such as carrots, peas, corn, green beans and potatoes and the list goes on. I can either freeze the left overs or place them in the fridge for use with another meal. When I am ready to use the leftovers, I simply place the container in the microwave, heat and serve. Placing the container in the microwave will melt any leftover butter in the container and season my vegetables at the same time.
This is a huge SAVINGS to you.
